From LetsRun. Com:
Good news: NBC will no longer broadcast Olympics as ‘plausibly live’ (tape-delayed) for Paris Games this summer They historically have held all of the big events for their evening live show but now will not do that. Also they will use "AI to allow fans to create personalized highlights packages, by picking in advance some favorite sports and the type of action they would like to see. AI will then deliver those specific highlights, narrated by an AI-generated model of Michaels’ voice — eerily realistic during a demonstration given on Wednesday."
So you can pick the events you want and listen to the inane commentary of their DEI hires using the voice of Al Michaels (still alive at 79 years old). Here's the link to the story.
Might be worth watching the boxing if they could bring back the voice and spirit of Howard Cosell (d. 1995).
